We have been advised of upgrades to the wastewater network in Burghclere, which Thames Water will be carrying out from 2 March 2025 onwards. This work will replace 950m of ageing wastewater pipes along Well Street to improve service reliability and prevent future disruptions.
Key Project Highlights:
- Start Date: 2 March 2025
- Phase 1 Duration: TBC, subject to site conditions (anticipated to last 3-4 weeks)
- Future Phases: Residents and businesses will be notified via post as each new phase of work begins.
- Full Project Completion: Expected by 30 June 2025 (subject to change based on site progress).
- Traffic Management: Full road closures on Well Street with signposted diversions (Sheepwash Lane remains open during Phase 1).
